“During this internship John helped me realize my full potential. John expected more out of me than all of my teachers. He has and keeps high expectations for his interns and in turn that makes you work ten times harder, and when you succeed you realize that there is no task you can’t do.”
Washington DC photographer John Harrington: Kristina Sherk in Washington, DC.
If you are seeing this message, you may need to upgrade your flash player“Knowing that everyone does things around the office and that everyone is needed. Everyone is part of the team and altogether we’re hard to stop! Not to mention that all of my class mates were jealous that I got to meet famous people at XM Radio frequently.”
Least Enjoyed:“Lifting heavy equipment and the shoots outside that make you sweat. Some tasks are frustrating and monotonous, and sometimes make you think you’re not learning much, but trust me; in every business there will be tasks you don’t want to do!”
What I Learned:“I learned that the business of photography is so much more than taking good photographs. It’s running a business that is the crucial part of succeeding in this world. This internship teaches you how to act/socialize/and meet (and exceed) the expectations of your client.”
