“A Word About The John Harrington Intern Experience:
I have found that being a full-time (40 hours a week) intern for John has been vital to my learning experience because it has allowed me to be 100% committed to my work. Anyone who knows John can tell you that he is completely devoted to his photography business and he looks for the same quality in an intern. So…my advise is to try if at all possible to be a full-time intern because it will open you up to many more opportunities for shoots and experiences.”

If you are seeing this message, you may need to upgrade your flash player“I most enjoyed the event assignments because they presented me with the opportunity to learn, by observing John’s style, how to get the best coverage quickly and still maintain creativity. I also greatly appreciated John’s willingness to allow me to shoot as well.”
Least Enjoyed:“I least enjoyed the endless piles of CD’s to be burned and filed.”
What I Learned:“I gained a greater understanding of all the aspects of running a photography business including the client-photographer relationship, estimates and billing, marketing and production. I also learned how to recognize and use your resources to the fullest. Overall the experience has been extremely beneficial in showing me the path to starting my own business.”
