Most Enjoyed:

Since John knows everyone in the business he was happy to introduce me to anyone he ever talked to. Being known as John Harrington’s assistant can open a lot of doors. All of your duties are outlined in an up to date workflow. John is more patient and perhaps more honest than any employer I have ever had. He is willing to point out your mistakes whether you ask or not, but it is always for the greater good of your future. By working with John one will know whether they are cut out for the business.

Least Enjoyed:

John’s temper often caught me off guard even when it was justified or not aimed at me. Having to run to keep up with John’s walk.

What I Learned:

In the short time that I interned, I can confidently say that it has been a crash course on business. From observation, I have taken away the art of negotiation. One of John’s quotes that sticks in my mind is “There are two kinds of photographers…those who get their pictures stolen and those who will.”
